I saw some exhibition pics from Sasha and she wore her R&J dress, does this mean that she skates to this music AGAIN? I thought she would skate to her My Fair Lady program...I'm really curious to see that program. :)
Btw, have the exhibitions been shown on US tv yet?

They come on next Sunday on ABC...depending on time zone it could be morning or afternoon. Check your local listings...I always go to tvguide.com.

hmmm, maybe she didn't do My Fair Lady because Robin choreographed it?

I love, love, love her R&J and I'm thrilled to get to see it again. Can't wait till the exhibition skates are on. I wasn't too thrilled with MFL and Sasha has been so busy that I'm sure she simply has not had time to put together a new program. I think most all of the skaters did old programs from COI.

Thanks!
Well I don't have to check my local listings, since I live in Europe. ;)
Now I know when the vids are available on Rinkside. :)

Hm that could be a good reason... but now we never get to see that program. I like that music a lot and couldn't wait to see Sasha skating to it. :(

No My Fair Lady. :(
Also I read that she fell and singled a jump and then landed a triple from a report on MKF. :(

She's doing R&J again??? It's a pretty program, yeah, but I'm tired of it.

I'm sad too. I can't believe there's no my fair lady. I liked that. But it could be about who coached it. It seems that a lot of people want her to do that routine, maybe she will. that stinks about her falling. :-(

I agree. I've seen it a million times, but it will never be as good as it was the very first time she did it at Sears Canadian Open.
I saw MFL too at COI. It's alright, but you didn't miss much.

R&J is one of Sasha's most amazing programs, IMO. I love it and can't wait to see next week, even if she did make a few mistakes.

I would really love to see Sasha do a jazzy, upbeat program. All her programs are so serious.

Hernando's Hideaway was probbaly the most "jazzy upbeat" program she has done.

ITA! I really hope that one day Sasha will skate to a rock song.
(although I'm quite sure that that will not happen ;) )

Aww! I am disappointed..I really thought she was gnna skate to MFL since last I looked on her website that was listed as her exhibition for this season. R+J is nice but again, I kinda saw it alot. Too bad about her fall, I am sure Dick opened his mouth and made some side comment about her performance.
and yes, I would love to see her skate to more energetic music but I guess she prefers the more serious side....

She probably prefers anything that Robin didn't have a part in since Robin trashed her in the interview. I wouldn't skate to it again either if I was Sasha.

I agree....when I was watching Nationals I kept thinking, Sasha needs music with fire and energy. I think that's why I don't like her Nutcracker all that much. It doesn't have the energy I think that Sasha owns! Malaguena had such energy to it and I really think that's why Sasha skated it so consistently. I think with the more floaty kind of music like her long right now makes it to where she can think more while she is skating and so she loses the fire and the nerves hit.
I wish she would have done something from Chicago before Jenny did...but now that's out. Oh well....I did LOVE Hernando's Hideaway...I'd love to see something like that again.

She skates beautifully to the Nutcracker, but she need something more upbeat and jazzy, with fire and energy to show off her talent. Malaguena is good..and Chicago actually sounds like a good idea also...too bad Jenny already did it. It would seem that a more upbeat program would be a lot of fun to do, so if she does one like that, maybe she won't lose her concentration and she'll have fun..while she is showing off all her capabilities as a skater.

yeah, me too! It would be nice if she did something more upbeat. I love Jenny's Chicago and really liked Sasha's Hernando's Hidaway.
