Oksana Bauel.

Her hair is long and wavy, she had to drop at least ten pounds, and she is skating like a kid again.

She is really shy about her celabraty. To look at her you would not know that's it's ten years since her gold medal.

Can you post a picture please. Oksana used to be my favorite skater. It was such a shame to find out what had happened to her but it's good news that she's getting herself back in shape

Nicole Bobek came to the rink last week and she lost SO much weight, I hardly recognized her. She looked maybe even a bit too thin, but still very healthy and a good weight for a figure skater. Maybe her skating will benefit!

ITA about Oksana. There were some pictures recently of her selling ice cream with Nick Lachey at a charity event...Oksana looked very pretty (and happy!) :)

Oksana was the reason I fell in love with this sport. The 1994 Olympics was the very first time I saw figure skating...and she mesmerized me. I have loved her ever since....I would love to see a recent pic of her. Elgaralexha, just curious as to where you saw her? Oh now that I think about it she skates in Hackensack doesn't she?

I think there are many like you. My daughter was taking lessons prior to 1994 and Oksana...and I will never forget going to the rink(s) and seeing all those new kids in beginner classes and everyone trying to do things like Oksana, trying to look like her. It was a phenom.

My daughter skated (practise) on the same rink with her a few times and Oksana was very, very nice to all the kids, very sweet.

I love her too. I will never in my life forget that delayed 2 axel in her SP at the 94 Olympics, nor her huge jumps, or her back catch spiral, which remains the best I've ever seen, nor that program, Swan Lake! It was amazing, mesmerizing, like you said.

I'm just glad if she is happy. She certanly has given so much of herslelf to all of us, she deserves all the happiness she can get!

That girl has lost a lot of weight and she looks in great shape. I'm so happy for her. After Ice Wars, I thought she was making a remarkable recovery and then she said she was working on her triple Lutz. Nice she is trying to skate like ol' Oksana again.

I loved her Swan Lake program..that will definently go down as my favorite ever of that music. She was breathtaking. I'm so happy for her and all she has achieved.
