Anyone sick of Michelle Kwan relentless attempt in quest of Olympic gold? After the 02 Olympics, l really thought that she's going to go out gracfully, but now l konw that her inflated ego won't let her. If she can't get a gold in 2006, she will be in 2010 olympics(it's in Canada, and we know how much Kwan loves the N.American crowd), she's probably going to try again at 29 a la Maria B. What really annoys me is the fake cry,fake tears ,fake emotions at the end of this year Nationals and just the overall phoneness about the love of skating and self proclaimed "legend status" really irks me. Like" oh l just love competing and it's not about the gold medal, blah...blah..blah..," that she oftens add with some new age mumble jumble Dr Phil rubbish.
I have a feeling that Kwan will still be competing in her 30s, and still trying to get an Olylmpic gold or try to break the record of most Nationals, worlds, titles..or being interviewed by braindead ABC reporters.
