What do you think of her skating to R and J for her SP. I just saw it on TV and I just think she should have done something else considering sasha was so close to doing it this season and she did it for ex last year. I dunno, It was a risky move. IMO all. What do you guys think? I just thought sasha was soooo good at it its so risky to put it in your own hands IMO

I don't know. I mean, it's not like Sasha's copyrighted the music or anything. I like Vika, so I don't mind. :)

I agree with Lanie on the parts she stated, but I don't think VV thinks a lot about her music choice. IMO R&J just doesn't suit her. She is more fit for faster more dramatic music. I think this just because she isn't to graceful and fluint in her movements I like her though. Her hair this season YUCK! Sorry hehe had to put it :)

I noticed that when she was skating........ it was basicly the same thing as Sasha's exibition. The dress did not go AT ALL. (My opinioN) And, I am not really a fan of her skating. I agree a lot with PrettyLayBack too. Viktoria just does not really fit Romeo AnD Juliet.

I hope someone can have a video clip of it soon..I don't have cable :( I really want to see it but ITA Romeo and Juliet is not really suited to Vika. She's suited for more light and flowing music, I think Gone with the Wind was a lovely choice for her. :D

I wasn't sure about her music choice at first too, since Sasha is using the same music for her EX so there will definetly be people comparing them, but I do think the music suits Vika. I can't really picture her skating to anything upbeat. Her skaitng style is usually slow and smooth so I think the music should fit her... but they could have done more with the choreo tho.. I thought ger dress was alright, but yea what was up with her ponytail...yuck!! lol She did her hair soo much better last year, she should go back to that.

Since Sasha skated to that music all I could think about was her program and how Viktoria just was slow and not very artistic. I don't think it was a move to skate to that music. I know Sasha didn't copyright the music or anything I am just saying that some people are now going to think of Sasha when Viktoria is skating that program.

Probobly only Sasha fans will think that way....R&J has been used (and abused :wallbash: :spam: ) by numerous skaters numerous times, so they may think of anyone who has used it, or just say "I like/don't like this skaters version"

I saw it and thought about how it wasn't as good as Sasha's myself. I think a skater can skate to any music they choose, but they do run the inevitable risk of comparison. To make it not as bad, I wouldn't do it so close to someone else's reveared version personally. Like with Shizuka. She's got S&Z's lp. I like her, but everytime she skates to it, I think about how S&Z brought me to tears at worlds and how she's not. I dunno.*shrugs* Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I just think that comparing Sasha to VV is or VV to Sasha is not very good because they are sooo differnt in many ways. I like it when Sasha does it better, but I am a Sasha fan, and not a VV fan so it makes sense.
