She is pictured in the "Leading Off" section of the new Sports Illustrated. She is wearing a black bikini and it says that she is 5"1' and weights 95 pounds! That is just wrong! Does she have an eating disorder?

please take her height into consideration.. there are plenty of people who are 95 pounds and are 5'5"!!

seriously, if she is 5' 1" that really isn't that bad. I am 5' 9" and I only weigh about 110. And the only eating disorder someone could possibly diagnose me with would be eating too much. It could also be hereditary. Sorry, can you tell it's a subject for me. Saying that someone is "soooo skinny" (usually stating the obvious so you really don't have to tell someone that) is about the same as saying someone is fat.

I am not trying to be mean! I am 5'5 and I weight 100 pounds. I just tought that for Tara, being 20 almost 21, (Or is she 21??) Would weight more than that. I guess all skaters are smaller than adverage though. I am not being mean! I am so sorry!:o

See the thing is, I do know. But when people are constantly saying things about your weight it gets annoying. It is just that it is pretty obvious whether you are skinny or not so why do people feel the need to point it out. It's like people walk around saying, hey you're hair is brown/blonde/red/whatever. Anyways I just thought I would let you know what I thought. This subject actually came up at work today-see I was on a ladder and this girl was sitting on the floor to the side of it and I was like oohh I almost fell, I woulda broke you (meaning I basically would have broke her neck the way she was sitting and how I would have landed on her) She goes right all 82 lbs of you. Ok that would be disgusting if I weighed that much. But, I don't.

Truthfully GreekGoddess for a long time I was at a constant 115 (which was good for me-sorry I got my dad's matabolism and it is just too damn fast) but I was sick recently (kidney stone) and I was on pain medication for a while and I had no appetite for about a week and a half, plus I had surgery-so to make a long story short-I lost way too much weight and have been trying to gain it back. It was pretty pathetic cause my freaking pants were falling off of me. Very sad!

by the way Sasharocks I know you weren't trying to be mean I was just giving you my perspective is all. I understand what you mean but weight doesn't have too much to do with your age once you get older.

If you look, all skaters are very tiny. Wait until you meet one in person! I'm sure Tara does not have an eating disorder!

I am pretty much completely better. Still have to go back to the doctor and stuff, but no more pains in the lower stomach region that hurt like a b@*!# !!!

Don't worry too much about your weight. We all have insecurities, you just have to put them in their proper perspectives. I swear everyone around me is on a diet of some sort and I wish that they would stop worrying so much. Just eat healthy. That is one of the main things that will keep off the weight. And drink water and lemonade (ok just kidding I just want others to suffer with me seeing as how that is all I can drink-doctors orders!) but seriously drink lots of water, you will actually feel healthier. I haven't had caffeen in about 8/9 months and I have never felt healthier than right now-especially with the stuff that just happened to me I try to be as healthy as possible. Anyway the point I am trying to make is just eat healthy and let your body do what it is gonna do. But don't worry too much about your weight because unless it gets out of hand (I know it can be a disease and you should be careful with your heart but I am guessing you aren't really fat so that doesn't apply to you) its not that big a deal!!

that must suck! I would hate to have a pain in the stomach all the time. This one wasn't like a stomach ache though. More like a stabbing constant took 2 bags of morphine to make it stop hurting kinda pain. But it isn't there anymore thank the Lord!

But yes, I think diets are pointless. You should eat when you are hungry, just make sure it is healthy!

I get so annoyed with the constant remarks about Tara's weight. My sister-in-law had an eating disorder for ten years. She was listless most of the time with dull skin and thin hair. Her whole day centered around what she was going to eat, how much etc. Eating disorders are horrible! Tara is a very pretty young woman. Her hair and skin look healthy and she has a wonderful, warm personality. She would not look or act like she does if she had an eating disorder.

She has always been thin. If you are 5'5 and 100 lbs, why do you think it's bad for Tara to be 5'1 and 95 lbs.? I bet Sasha doesn't weigh 100 lbs. either or if she does it's probably just 100 lbs.

yea, Sasha is very muscular and I bet that is where most of her weight comes from.
