What is this about??? I'm just lost!!! but I'm not thinking much today anyway...so I could be missing something...but maybe not.

It is an online simulation game where you can practice and compete. You start with singles and after a few months you will have all your quads. Doesn't happen right away, it takes time but it still fun. :) If you want to play, Go to http://playasport.com/my_sports/skating/ and sign up. When it asks you what you group you want to be in, join "SashaFans.com" with the password "sasha". The rest you should be able to figure out. :)

That is because you didn't compete in Skate America, that will change next event (tonight and tomorrow night).

The most efficient way to train is get 2 jump points a day and 1 artistic and 1 spin. Jumps count most.

Don't forget to edit your program when you get new elements!

For the competition it just happens every day. Just check back everyday and choose results and flash and you can watch.

Your skater will automatically compete. There is a new season every month.

However, practice EVERY DAY as much as you can and edit your program when you get new elements!

Well if your long program is giving you trouble, why do you re choreagraph it?? Just a thought. Have you updated it every time you earn new moves?

Nope, can't delete a skater, just destroy the programs. None of my skaters have been practicing since the beginning. I can only switch next month, but by then people will be way past the 3rd level skater and closer to the #1 and #2. Next season I may swtich Dustin to another group and keep the Mitenko sisters. ;)

No, music selection doesn't matter. One thing important though, if you can help it don't repeat a jump/spin/move any more than 2 times in the program!

You can repeat, but not more than once repeating. Only two of the same elements.

Sorry CartDi! To tell you the truth, I'm not really sure. I know that when I first registered, I registered in a random group, but then I got into this group by putting in a password. I think you can change your group somehow, but I honestly don't remember. You'd have to ask Dustin. Sorry! :cry: lol :p

For my short in run throughs I usually get between 4.7 - 5.2, for both technical and artistry. For my long, no matter what I do, I always get less than 4.5 :twisted: :rolleyes: I have changed my program soooooooooooooooo many times and I still suck! ARG!!!!!!!!!!!! :cry: :o :twisted: :evil :eek: :mad: :confused: :( I even get 10 as my highmark and 6 as my low and still get like 3.1 grrrrrrrrrrr ;)

First of all, I think it is excellent, and you are a very good writer. But...

are you seriously thinking about getting it published, as a book? Because I just measured it, and it is 9 pages long, which, considering you are on the 8th chapter, is not very long. How much longer are you going to make it, and do you have any plan now? I mean, maybe it could end up being a short story (for a magazine like on of the skating ones or a literary one like .Cicada, if you cut off the chicken sandwich part and had them find your villain then.

I'm sorry if I've been rude, or burst anybody's bubble. Just my overly-realistic thoughts & ideas. I do really like it though! Keep up the good work!

for the shorts ive gotten - 11th, 10th, and 9th ... but even if i do a little better in the long i still end up with like 11th!! and kiki im with you on that one ... its caz they all got quads and we are still working on getting all our triples ;)

I train based on what I can get and what needs training ... i send sometimes 2 full points just working on 1 jump!! but i try to make sure i even it out so i can improve my spins and artisticness as well

I placed 6th in the Short Program - getting better! But I can't believe I placed 4th in the Olympics last season - just like Sasha, lol. I trained today and now my moves are:

Triple Lutz / Doughnut Spin / Charlotte
63 50 50

Some people's jumps are like 80, while their spins and artistry is like, 30! I like to keep mine relatively even. A couple of days ago all of them were 50. :p

I have 3 skaters in another group, and they did better this "year"... one was 3rd with 1295 points, another was 5th with 1119, and the third was sixth with 1045. My skater in this group was 19th all year, but I was just practicing to see what happened if you only did artistic.:rolleyes:
