I'm a judge!!

I just got a call from my old skating club. They're having a big skating competition, and they know that I dance and were wondering if I would be a judge for artistry. :D hehe I'm so excited!

That is so cool! Are you cetified as a judge? Because I know in the ISI program, judges have to get certified, and there are different levels...

It's not an ISI competition. It's the Canadian Figure Skating Association......or something like that. It's changed since I was there, and I heard that's what it's been changed to....I think.:?

USFSA judges have to be certified, its the PSA that you get rankings from. At ISI competitions the 'judges' are just coaches that don't have competitors in that event. (or at least thats how it was when I did ISI) and always sasha - remember that if somebody has a lot of arm movements it doesn't make them 'artistic' - that drives me nuts when people get good scores but don't feel the music or have much artistic quality at all...but have just a lot of arm movements.
