what is a "delayed axel"? It was mentioned on some website I was looking at...

when you go into an axel, you jump into it really high, almost as if you were going into a waltz jump, and just before your arch starts to drop, you go into your last revolution.

Yeah, to clarify a little more, you don't began rotating right away. So you have to jump really high and/or be able to rotate really fast!

That's sounds really difficult, but maybe it's easier to do than it is to describe. I doubt it though.
