I just got back from my ice rink and there he was (well my friend knew he was going to be there but still) !!!!! I was so excited. He was signing autographs, I had a pad ll ready, but then he left and we followed him but he left too quickly. I am so mad I didnt get his autograph. He was teaching a jumping class there (well his coach was so I guess he just decided to come.) I am SO happy I have never seen a skater up close!!! Has anyone else??

OMG I'd die too. Hahaha. I wish he visited rinks in Los Angeles. I know Scott Hamilton practices at a rink every morning aout 30 minutes away from me. :) Only skater I've chatted with is Bebe Liang. I'd be so happy if I got to meet Zhenya. *swoon* Okay. Yeah, I crush on him, so what. ;)

Wow that's really cool! The skater's that I've seen upclose (and met) are Rosalyn Sumners, Jake Sale, David Pelletier, and Kyoko Ina.

Evgeny came to my rink a couple times... but OF COURSE (just like it is with Sasha), I happen to take the day off!! ARGH!

Aw, I doubt he, or any other famous skater, is coming to my rink any time soon...we have like 15 figure skaters hehe lol the rest is hokey...Maybe I should hang around the Rolling Meadows rink where I get my skates taken care of (Timmy used to train there, they say..) or Totmianina&Marinin's rink... :p I've met Plush at COI tho...he signed every single persons program..such a sweetie, and also Michelle and Surya! :)

a kiwi accesent is a new zealand accent (the country just below aust). i went there once when i was little, and there are heaps of new zealanders here in OZ. there called Kiwis after their national bird, the Kiwi. the accent i alot like mine (aussie), but a little different, for example, they pronounce socks sooks. :lol:

This is so weird!!!! I was walking to the MCI center for the pairs short program and there is Evgeni Plushenko walking down the crosswalk RIGHT NEXT TO ME our shoulders practically touched. It was so weird. I didnt say anything becaus eI didnt want to bother him becaus eit looked like he was with his friends, I must be the Evgeni girl. this is weird!!!
