I posted a note to Tara at her official site and a couple of weeks ago I received an autographed picture of her. I just couldn't believe it. I think she is just so very special. She will always my favorite skater!!!!!

That's so cool. Sasha does that too........or at least I've heard. I sent her a letter about two weeks ago. I hope she replies! :lol:

I really hope Sasha will be like Tara with her fans and with others next to Tara I love Sasha the best as a skater but haven't learned too much yet about how she is with fans and people in need.We'll see but I think so far she sounds nice.Anyway she is such a exquisite stylish of a skater she has a great career in front of her no matter how many medals she wins or not.I already get the impression Sandra Bezic would love to have her on SOI.:D ;) :lol:

I hope people don't expect Sasha to be like Tara with respect to fan interaction. I think Tara is very exceptional and goes way out of her way to interact with her fans. I don't expect every skater to be this out-going and I wouldn't hold it against them for not being like Tara.

its interesting that all of you are saying how wonderful she is with her fans.. cause i had a totalllllyyyyy different experience with her.. where she wasnt exactly NICE.

Just because people are saying Tara was great to them or the public at certain functions, that's NOT saying Tara is always an angel and nice to everyone. She's human just like you and me and we all have our bad days. Unfortunately, you met her on her bad day. It happens and I accept it and I think her fans accept it too. We can't throw the baby out with the bathwater just because you had a bad experience. We hope there are more good stories about Tara than bad stories, thus making her appear to be more outgoing than the average skater.
