He tore his ACL and meniscus and will be undergoing surgery :(
Honestly, I don't know if he'll be able to come back from that type of injury. It's good that they're performing surgery early, but that's a brutal injury. The knee has to absorb so much impact and deal with so much torque in these multi-rotational jumps. I have a hard enough time having torn just my meniscus and MCL. Yes, he'll have the top surgeons and physical therapists, but the body can only handle so much. I sure do hope he recovers well, though. He's one of the only male skaters left that I actually LIKE!
