no, that was at 2008 worlds where she dropped out since her leg was hurting her. Her actual retirement is not confirmed yet

Those videos didn't say she was retiring. She had injuries last season. I haven't heard that she won't be skating again this season.

I think she's saying that she stopped skating her program (she did stop part way through, right?), not that she is stopping skating altogether.

I didn't notice that... but the person who wrote that can clearly barely speak English. And Miki's music and whatnot have all been announced this season already. And she's skated several times since.

And the thread title is completely misleading. I nearly had a heart attack only to open it and find someone merely asking if she had retired based upon one shoddy performance and something someone wrote in a YouTube summary in broken English.

I recall seeing this earlier this year. They meant retiring for that competition (2008 Worlds.) As was mentioned earlier, there are videos of Miki skating her new SP floating around and she looks good!

Oh good lord. I vote this thread be locked for the simple reason that it appears to be unintentional misinformation, and will give people unnecessary heartattacks. :confused:
