If that happens I'll be sooooooooo happy... as the pro world DEFINATELY needs to have some of the Stars from the Olys... and B/S certainly were in teh public! :)

I wouldn't be suprised if that does happen. I heard that they might take next year off and start again for the 03-04 season. Although I'm not a huge fan of them, I hope that the reason for this wasn't the Olympic thing. Jamie and David said that it wasn't, but you never know.

yea, I know 3 out of the top 5 olympic finishers turned pro. :(

That is very depressing!!! They are absolutely the best pair skaters ever!!! I hope that isn't true because pairs skating would be very boring without B/S skating.

I know now all my favorite pairs teams are turning pro. Now I dont have any reason to want to watch pairs skating :(

] I am a little concerned, though. S&Z are so far out in front of the rest of the pack technically, that I fear people are going to be injured in trying to catch them. With the other top teams out of the mix, there is less diversity in the skating, I don't think that is a good thing for skaters.

Also, I fear that Ina's shoulder is a bigger factor than we know. I am so surprised that I&Z wouldn't go out and rack up some gold medals this season. It would have been a great year for them.

yeah no doubt we will see new stars but I won't like them as much as the old stars :(
