I don't know if this is old news but I have never EVER heard about it.
I was watching an ice show this evening. Brian was performing with Valentina Marchei and at the end, bam, the two of them were kissing! I had no idea they were dating!!!!
... I don't know if I'm happy about it ;)

Yes they're dating since last summer I think, because they're training in the same rink every summer (and maybe not only the summers). I saw an exhibition last december in Courchevel and they kissed.
But I wonder what language they speak together ? Maybe she knows french ?

Valentina was speaking in French. She speaks pretty well! So I guess they speak French together.

See how Brian just comes to kiss her? He doesn't do anything else, really. And yesterday they kissed at the end of the program, and it was uncalled for. Of course I don't like the idea of Brian going out with someone lol, but I don't like how they're showing it off like that, when there is no real reason...

No I didn't watch the show last night but I recorded it so I will watch it later.

He's a male figure skater. He has to show the world that he is heterosexual. Like Evan and Tanith. I'm getting the impression that some male figure skaters will do anything in their power to let the world know of their sexuality.
I could be wrong...I'm just saying that I get that impression.

Or it could have something to do with the fact that they're in love and they're very happy about it? Just a thought. I don't see anything wrong with him kissing her in the middle of a program, it was probably adorable.

I personally think you guys are reading into it too much... I don't think he's trying to show off or prove to the world that he isn't gay. I'm with Emmy on this... As much as it makes me jealous watching Brian kiss her :lol:

I'm just pointing out the fact that many of the relationships for male figure skaters seem to be in the media a lot.

Yes, a few years ago he dated Miss France but when they broke up she spread the rumor that he was gay and just dating her to make people believe that he was heterosexual.
I don't understand why now that he's dating Valentina he doesn't keep that more secret after what happened with Miss France. Maybe it's just to prove the world that he's not gay or to show that he's really in love or maybe it's just to be in the magazines...

yeah, it was during ice dance. becuase i remember they showed them and i was so heartbroken and was thinking "who's that girl with brian?" lol. well, at least she's a skater but still.... i wanted him! lol
