I was wondering, because I would love to join:)

If not, I could always make one. But only if there would be interest.

Yeah. I remember there was one on her official website but apparently it's down for now, but there is a forum. I'd be surprised if there wasn't. ;)

Yes, that was what I was thinking, so I googled it but didn't get any results. Never mind, I will wait until it is up.:) Thank you, Judith.

There definitely is, at LEAST one. I don't the URL though, sorry :( But I know there's a few members here that are members of the Tara board too, so hopefully one of them will answer. You could try Googling, though, that very well might bring it up.

There is an official one attached to her website, that I tried to join last year and about 10 times in the last 9 months, but for some reason I never get an email send. And otherwise it wont let me post. I have tried with different emails too... But I hope it works for you :D

The one I linked to was from taralipinski.com. Was that one open recently?

Nope, it was open years ago and it closed. Angie says on her website that the only one there is is the official one and its not very active. i post there rarely.

It must be difficult to keep a forum fresh when there isn't much new news/info to report.

In the past it hasn't been very active at all but in the last couple of weeks it has gotten more active than I have ever seen it and I've been a member for several years. The reason they temporarily closed it down was to try to make it more active and to try to get Tara more involved.

I am a member of Tara's official message board and I can tell you it is not active at all. It, as well as her official website, closed down for "reconstruction" or whatever.

There has been zero news on or from Tara in like a year, it's like she dropped off the face of the earth. No one seems to know what is going on with her. Her IMBD has nothing new either, so obviously she has gotten no acting gigs since Malcolm in the Middle in 2006. It would be nice to know what she has been up to in the last year or so. Also nothing new on wireimage and she usually attends a lot of Charity Events, Fashion Shows, Premiers, etc in LA but she hasn't even done that since the beginning of this year.

The members and remaining fans of hers have been really ticked off that she has been so non-involved.

for myself i wouldn't necessarily say ticked off just rather dissapointed:confused:
i wasn't a big fan of her acting but i hope someday to see her tour with SOI again :sasha:

a quote from Tara off of Angie's site tararulz.com
"My fans will never have to worry about me quitting skating. I will always do it because its my passion" - 2002

Tara your fans miss you and we've been waiting:rolleyes:

Whatever is going on, I hope Tara is enjoying her life.

Tara gave so much to others, including her health, in the course of following her own passion and in my opinion was very badly treated by the US figure skating establishment, as so many other skaters have been.

Um, badly treated? How so?

I AM a fan of Tara, btw, just to clarify. But I fail to see how she was badly treated.

I miss Tara!!! i used to swear i was her biggest fan...Now i just sit and wonder what the heck she is up to these days? Maybe she just isn't interested in being famous anymore and wants to live a totally normal life?!?! Because we all know that she had tons of opportunity to have her face smeared all over magazines and tabloids to this day if that was what she asprired for herself...I hope one day that she will return to skating just for the love of it and for her fans that miss her soooo much!

The information previously posted is that Tara cannot skate because the injury to her hip is such that it might kill her to endure surgery -- there is some kind of deep vein danger or something. I don't know, that is the type of thing that was posted.

I'm with you. I know Tara didn't get the same spotlight that Michelle got, and we all know how Mrs. Lipinski felt about that, but I wouldn't say she was treated badly. I think she wasn't around long enough to really capitalize on any popularity. There was an intense hype-remember Tara Mania?-that followed her, and she obviously lived up to that hype, but she was just a little kid, totally protected by her team, so how could anyone really treat her badly? She had lots of press and lots of coverage, sometimes that can be bad, but for the most part, was good. Picking Michelle to give the President the team jacket was seen as an insult by Mrs. Lipinski, but noone said only an OGM could do that. Michelle had already begun her reign as America's Sweetheart, so anyone that followed, Tara, Sarah, Sasha, really just had the misfortune of coming along during that reign, doesn't mean they were treated poorly.
