Sasha, but I was mad that she went on her acting stint. But often my "favorite skater" temporarily becomes the one that I am currently watching (that's how I like to watch and enjoy everyone's programs.)

I should add: Emily Hughes, Michelle Kwan, Johnny Weir, Irina Slutskaya, Alexei Yagudin, and Totmianina/Marinin - I saw "the fall", in person at Skate America '04. Truly horrifying... but it made me a fan of her amazing spirit.

:eek: This question will cause some "fun" results I bet. Oh... Tonya Harding? Guess that's a no-brainer.

I'm "liberated", I cry during LOTS of programs (but only when I am alone!) Examples: Sasha's R&J LP at the '06 Olympics (such courage after 2 falls), Sarah's LP at '02 Olympics (legendary), Michelle's Fields of Gold at '02 Olympic Exhibition (heartwrenching), and just about all of the ladies' short programs from 06/07 Nationals once perfect programs started hitting one after another (thrilling.) I'm always empathizing with the skater and realizing it is their "big moment." Plus some programs are just breathtaking.

4. Favorite skating move?

Sasha's spiral, or a really first-rate layback spin from the top spinners.

I don't remember. Maybe Michelle Kwan. I watched skating a little but didn't pay much attention until 2002.

Anytime a girl puts on a full body jumpsuit. Not trying to be a perv, I just think ladies look so much more elegant and ladylike with 2-piece outfits. (Also anytime a guy bares his whole chest - ech!)

It's easy for me to start hating it, but when I go back and watch competitions under the old system, it's clear CoP is a superior system. I just hope they can fix it to include more artistry and freedom...

Emily is the most adorable thing ever. Sarah Meier is very lovely though.

I have skated 3 times and people tell me it's amazing how I can just skate on one foot the whole time. It's cause I am too afraid to switch. I fell once roller skating, lost my breath for 15 mins and got hairline fractures in my tailbone and wrist. So I'd just rather watch the pros. But I have NEVER FALLEN on ice. :cool:

Michelle or Oksana or Kristi. Those are the first skaters I can remember hearing about, and my parents used to talk about them a LOT!

Umm...Yu Na's El Tango de Roxanne is pretty high up there, and it was def my fave SP. Brian's "Bond" is way up there too, only for the entertainment value though, not for the actual skating or choreo. Kimmie's Keep Holding On and Yu Na's Reflections tied for my favorite ex, and Caro's Thais was my fave LP.

Hairstyle: Hmmm...Plushy's mullet has gotta go, no offense. And Johnny. My dear, stay with hairstyles that are flattering to you, and away from the flyaway mullet look, PLEASE.

In some ways. I think in terms of leaving room and ordinals, it's infinitely fairer than 6.0. I like that a lot. But I HATE how it's sucking the beauty, originality, and the SOUL out of 99% of the programs we see out there.

Sashie, MK for females. Male: Johnny, of course, but Brian, Steph, and Evan are close behind ^_^

This season, Evan's b/c it's CHANGED so much. *high fives Glitter* :lol:

But in general, umm..don't kill me for this, but I used to love Sasha's skating but dislike her personality b/c, like IceQueenMelissa, she used to come across as sort of really snobby and spoiled. Now, however, she's matured a lot, and handles herself beautifully in interviews.

Overall, I'd have to say, John Baldwin. The only thing I even LIKE about that man at ALL is the way he treats Rena. I love Rena to bits, so it's impossible to hate someone who loves her so much and treats her so sweetly. But he is snobby, spoiled, and he throws hissy fits over stupid things. John definitely wins in the least likeable category.

*preens* why yes, I can! I can't do very many elements or anything, but this summer should fix that. LOL.

It wasn't Swan Lake, it was The Swan. And he didn't change to masculine, he just tried one edgier song. I didn't find his LP very masculine at all. He's the same guy.

Well I don't know what it was but this past year it was basically a competition over who could be more masculine so they talked about it as much as they could.

Actually, it was kind of like this:
Johnny announced his new SP and said he was going to try a more masculine style for his program. Nothing wrong with that, right? Yeah. So then Evan was all like "Oh crap, Johnny's trying to be masculine. Yeah, well, my costume is masculine. Look how masculine it is! I went with designers that could create a really masculine look because I'm so masculine. And my girlfriend thinks I'm masculine, too. Yeah, that's right. I have a girlfriend. And she thinks I'm masculine." And then Johnny was like ".....ok." because Johnny couldn't probably care less, besides the fact that he's getting sick of Evan using it against him (from the looks of his journal, anyway).

I don't know if its really true, I just made it up. Seems pretty true to me, though.
