Since Plushenko announced not to participate in Japan International Challenge on Oct.1 (also not in Campbell's on Oct.8), there was a poll in Japanese site: "Whom do you want to invite instead?". So far their first choice is Lambiel, Goebel 2nd, Sandhu 3rd, Griazev, Joubert, Klimkin & Jahnke are 4th.

For me it would be an easy choice.
I go for sandhu.
Extremely handsome. Easy to be mixed up with other cultures, since is a huge mix himself. Always weird but original and well fitting costumes. Choreaphys are amazingly built up to fit him and the music. Interpretetions to die for. So presentetion will be intriguing for sure.
After the show, you wanna see the power and the precision. Well we know he can land big jumps, his spins are top spins, his feet move just so fast!

Plush decided to skip the whole GP part, to focus on recovering, training, and then be ready for nats, euros, and olys, who knows about worlds. Maybe he needs time for his brand new married life too. BTW, I'm happy with his decisions. It's gonna be hard, he'll need all his energy and more to make it.

I'm glad Evgeni has withdrawn -- hopefully he will be in great shape by the Olympics. I wish they would ask Brian Joubert as he is one of my favorites.

I like Joubert too!! I can't say I'm a big fan or anything, but I thought his Matrix program was so cool and interesting that I silently root for him during competitions.

It seems like Johnny is not going to compete in there, for his official site doesn't mention it in his schedule. Also it's too close to Cambell's, hard to believe he will compete in both.I wish i could say Weir, but, he's already competing in those. :lol: But I'd have to say...Lambiel. "Johnny will be competing in Tokyo on Oct 1" finally it is said in his official site. This is because all the time the organizer was talking to USFSA, and only recently they started to negotiate with Johnny.
